Being an aunt (or uncle) is great. Cute babies, no responsibilities (or sleep loss). What could be better?
Another plus: Cute members of the wedding party.
For some reason, this struck me as one of the easier aspects of the wedding to ponder yesterday. Rick has an adorable 2-year-old niece, and I have three adorable nephews (twin 14-month-olds and one 11-month-old). Obviously, we have a flower girl. And I guess boys are ring bearers. But what exactly can you do with three of them?
The best solution, courtesy of my little brother: Give one the rings, have all three stand side-by-side, then play three-ring monte with the boys. Who's in?
